About SCInfo

SCInfo is a free information and Library resource that provides people with a severe disability, their families, and carers—in fact anyone who is interested—with practical, relevant information that is complete, accurate, confidential and free of charge.

Who are SCInfo?

Our SCInfo service is delivered through our Information Officers and our Librarian who have worked collectively for SCIA for 38 years in information roles. That experience is the knowledge that underpins our SCInfo service.

What type of information can I get from SCInfo?

Information relating to:

  • Contacts within the disability field, service providers general assistance and others

  • Holiday accommodation
  • Recreation
  • Respite care
  • Spinal cord injury

We also operate an ever-expanding library at our Little Bay office in Sydney. We keep an assortment of local and overseas publications and books as well videos and back issues of Accord and Quad Wrangle.

I cannot find much information about Manila, but one site you can look at is www.cebuonwheels.com.ph.It focuses on Cebu, but I imagine that the owners will have good information for travellers to other areas.

Dear Readers, May be are there any readers that can give some tips for travel from Brisbane to Manila, Philipines. I require frequently a wheelchair or Rollator wheeler. Any relevant information is very welcome. Thanks in anticipation! Cheers! Michael

Just wondering if you can suggest some contacts in regard to a drivers seat for our son in a Holden Commodore VY - possible with a lever action so he can get his wheelchair in to the passenger seat with ease. Thanks Janelle
